The Recovery Journey
12 Steps for Sin Addiction
I am powerless over sin – my life is unmanageable.
I believe that Jesus Christ has power over sin and will turn my life to sanity.
I am determined to surrender my life to Jesus Christ as Lord.
I have made a searching and fearless inventory of my sin.
I have admitted to God, to myself, and to another human being the exact nature of my sin.
I am entirely ready for God to forgive these sins.
I humbly ask the Holy Spirit to remove sin from my life.
I have made a list of all persons harmed by my sin and I am willing to make amends to them all.
I have made amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
I continue to inventory and admit my sin and seek God’s forgiveness and restoration.
I seek, through prayer and meditation on God’s Word, to grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ.
Receiving new life in Jesus Christ, I will carry His message of hope, healing, and help to others, and continue to practice Godly principles in all my affairs.
